November Stout tech-talk features Chippewa Valley Tech
The November Tech-talk Business Briefing to be held at University of Wisconsin-Stout will feature the Chippewa Valley Technical College.
Sue Brown, campus administrator for the Menomonie and River Falls campuses, will provide an overview of CVTC from 9-10 a.m., Friday, Nov. 19 in room 205 of UW-Stout's Millennium Hall. Brown has been with CVTC for more than 30 years in faculty and administrative positions. Brown's presentation will focus on strategies that have made CVTC one of the top 15 fastest growing technical colleges in the nation and the important economic development relationship between CVTC programs, its graduates and the region.
This is the third in the 2004-05 series of monthly presentations by area employers. Each month the briefing will include information about innovations in the featured company's field, their desire for technical assistance, and ideas for developing customized training and research offerings for their employees.
The briefings are sponsored by the Stout Technology Park Development Corporation, Stout Solutions and the Menomonie Rotary Club. They are free and open to the public.
