BASIS to hold IT development programme in November
Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) will organise an 'IT Entrepreneurship Development Programme' in November next to encourage IT entrepreneurship among the talented youths in the country.
The Prgoramme will be held on the occasion of SOFTEXPO-2004 between November 25 and 30. South Asia Enterprise Development Facility (SEDF) is providing financial assistance for the programme, a press release said.
BASIS will provide free exhibition space at SOFTEXPO-2004 to the selected IT entrepreneurs for exhibiting their projects. BASIS and SEDF will also help the entrepreneurs find out potential sponsors or investors and clients for their IT projects or ideas.
To qualify for the "IT Entrepreneurship Development Program", interested individuals, groups or companies have been requested to submit a proposal to BASIS office by October 31, 2004.
The proposal should contain features, profile of their Software and IT projects, detail CV of the entrepreneurs and project concept demo.
A detailed resume of the respective entrepreneur is needed to submit with the proposal.
