SEOUL - U.S. software giant Microsoft Corp.'s Korean unit said Friday some customers here have been unavailable to use Korean language fonts on its MSN Messenger program because of a software problem.
The glitch has left some customers unable to input Korean characters into the instant messaging program for the past 10 days, Microsoft Korea said after first denying for several days that problems existed. LG ENTERS SERVER SEGMENT TO FUEL GROWTH IN INDIA
MUMBAI - LG Electronics India Ltd Thursday announced its foray in the country's server segment to fuel growth and achieve an over 68 per cent rise in IT segment turnover at Rs 7.6 billion(US$168.9 million) in 2004.

NEW DELHI - Extending an eight-year old global alliance in India, Oracle Software and Dell on Wednesday announced their partnership for the local market to offer a single point of contact for computing requirements.

NEW DELHI - Apex body of the Indian IT companies Nasscom would sign an MoU with the Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA) to increase bilateral IT trade during the first ever IT summit between the two countries in Islamabad next month.
A delegation of 20 Indian IT companies, led by Nasscom Chairman Jerry Rao and President Kiran Karnik, would participate in the summit on December 16, a Nasscom statement said here today.
